Both founders bring unique skillsets to the team and together are creating something truly revolutionary to the financial education space. We're combining deep expertise in financial education, behavioral science, and cutting-edge technology to make financial literacy accessible, engaging, and effective for every student.

Sam

Co-Founder & Financial Education Expert

Sam is a Gen Z credit union financial educator who has spent nearly 7 years in the credit union industry counseling people, writing curriculum, and facilitating presentations and reality fairs.

She developed her own comprehensive financial education program at her credit union, bringing innovative approaches to traditional financial literacy. Her firsthand experience working with students has shaped every aspect of Cents of Adventure's approach to learning.

  • Serves on the board for the National Credit Union Financial Education Network (CUFEN)
  • Certifications in Financial Counseling
  • Certifications in Behavioral Finance
  • 7+ years of experience in credit union financial education

Co-Founder & Technology Lead

Steven is a millennial dad of Gen Alpha kids with nearly a decade of experience in the finance industry, specializing in IT and software development. His passion is making financial management less intimidating for younger generations.

With a background in building budgeting apps and financial technology solutions, Steven brings the technical expertise needed to create intuitive, scalable platforms that work seamlessly for educators and students alike.

  • Expert in building scalable, user-friendly educational technology
  • Passionate advocate for youth financial literacy
